the perfect speed should be 1800 rpm, then use the imperial glaze with the machine then go over wuith the hand glaze this wuold help you to remove swirl marks, then you wax,and boom you all set

saludos

I’m from Argentina I couldn’t get it all. Which should be the speed for the machine? I kind of heard that you start with a low speed and later on you continue increasing the speed when the compound beggin to disappear, is that right? I have the Perfect IT Rubbing Compound, as well as the imperial hand glaze (not the machine one) and the 3m paste wax. Thanks!

This is only the case if you don’t break down the diminishing compounds properly. Diminishing abrasives are not old school, they are the ONLY school.

is it better to wet sand the clear coat first to get rid of orange peal then buffer it?
September 2nd, 2010 at 12:06 am
Oold school using diminished abrasives.wash it down with prepsol and you will see the crappy result??????

Thak you for you comment. The primer used in this video is of the highest grade produced by BASF. Due to EPA standards for applying primer outside, the product has to be sprayed in this manner. Feel free to contact us if you would like to learn more about the proper way to perform paint repairs on-site. Thanks again for your comment.

Haha,, primer from a spray can… and like you had to tape off the whole stupid front of the car for just that little spot. I would check into getting a gun for your primer. Maybe you wouldnt have as much overspray
