Im talking to Timbemann. Its true, Crystal shine from CarBrite is a very nice product but I suggest you to try the glaze from 3M part # 06064 (step 2) and next to this use the blue pad from 3M with the step 3 !! ( blue colored ). try it ! after u can use crystal shine or other wax to protect your job ! ^^ good luck

yo. I just want to say that im using the same buffer made by Makita and when im using the final glaze with dark pad, I put the speed of the buffer at 2 or between 2 and 3 but, never at 3. lol ! And I move the buffer slowly and i keep it wet. Never bring the surface ur glazing dry ! Because if u look ur job indoor its look great but,go out at the sun ( mostly its a dark color ). Ull see like bigs blues holograms….. not good ! sry if i makes somes ortograph errors, my english is not to date;p

His technique definitely needs some work, but as far as expert village vids go this guy is a fuckin guru.

The entire point of waffle pad buffing is to remove swirl marks. Foam pads are used at the lowest speed setting your buffer has, so unless your really careless you shouldn’t have to worry about burning through. Follow up with a basic hand glaze like Crystal Shine and you’ll have a beautiful deep gloss.

Good job, and nice of you to help people out, thanks

Two words: swirl marks.

I would love to see you tough guys say that to his face. Its typically a bad idea to start a fight with a guy that has hand tattoos. Just a rule of thumb.

who cares
August 23rd, 2010 at 12:33 pm
painted nails or not, this guy could probably punch your teeth down your throat
August 23rd, 2010 at 12:45 pm
I don’t give a damn about the “grand scheme”. Were I come from, guys keep their hair short, and the only paint on their finger nails got there by accident.
August 23rd, 2010 at 1:15 pm
Well, “You” are just like “They” when you judge a person by their personal style. When I was growing up, only Servicemen (Army, Navy, etc.) got tatoos; anyone else was considered a freak; any guy with an earring was a definite fag. I remember the first time I saw a guy with fingernail polish on (1977) I thought he was a perverted freak. I was a college basketball player. Times have changed man. Minor things like that is so miniscule in the grand scheme of things.
August 23rd, 2010 at 1:28 pm
“they” still say that.
August 23rd, 2010 at 1:49 pm
Ok, whatever you say. Years ago, they used to say long hair was only for girls and faggots too.
August 23rd, 2010 at 1:55 pm
your just as bad for sticking up for him. Painted nails are for girls and faggots.

August 23rd, 2010 at 3:21 pm
well thats different anyway does anyone know where you can get one of those paint measureing stick he used on one of the 6000 vids.

Expert Village really sucks big time. Half of the videos is simply about “Hi i am another nerd from expert village and I am gonna show you how to do this.” Videos are not informative and instructional at all…it only shows that look expert village knows it all. You tube should ban these loosers.
August 23rd, 2010 at 4:09 pm
again, why would you defend expert village?
