I have used this for ages and it works pretty well on plastic, non-glass crystals. The secret is when you apply it you have to rub against the scratch…in other words if the scratch is up and down….do not polish it up and down….polish back and fourth against the scratch and use a fair amount of pressure

Can’t find this anywhere where I live, but they do have Displex. I heard it’s all the same, true or false?

@jasonchusfo888 just go to a watch shop, they will propably have it
August 27th, 2010 at 9:25 am
No, you’ll need another one called Displex which works very well on cell phone screens (not sure if it works on touch screen though)
Conversely, you cannot use Displex on a watch surface, it just won’t work

I just used this product on a 1967 Rolex with acrylic crystal. My scratches must have been deeper because it took me 3-4 applications and about 30 minutes, but it came out perfectly. Good as new. A+ for this product.

I have an Omega Speedmaster Automatic with some scratches in the “Hesalite” (acrylic) crystal. I’ve been wanting to try this Polywatch compound out for some time now, but wasn’t sure what kind of results to expect. Thanks a lot for posting this video. I’ll be repairing my watch myself now and saving a hundred or so dollars. Thanks again!! Great video

you can take wet or dry silicon carbide sandpaper and sand deeper scratches out i used 500 grit it wasn’t real course but sanded scratch then went to 1500,2000,2500 then used cerium oxide with a buffing wheel and wool pad and with buffer and got my scratches out i have video of it on here under sanding windshield scratch
